Q: How do I size the Armband?
Peloton offers two sizing options for the Armband:
Armband Size | Forearm Circumference |
Small Strap: 325mm/12.8 inches |
7.5 to 10.5 inches / 19 to 27 centimeters |
Large Strap: 390 mm/15.4 inches |
10.5 to 13.5 inches / 27 to 34 centimeters |
The Armband should be placed at least 3 finger-widths away from your elbow to avoid friction and irritation. The Armband should be snug enough to stay put, but not so tight that it hurts or cuts off circulation. To minimize the possibility of skin irritation or discomfort: (i) wear the Armband over clean, dry skin and alternate the arm on which the band is worn and (ii) follow all cleaning instructions and ensure that the Heart Rate Pod is dry and free from sweat and other liquids or residue before placing it on the Pod Charger. Please consult a physician if you develop a rash or skin irritation.
Q: How do I care for the Heart Rate Band?
To care for and maintain your Peloton Heart Rate Band, please follow the steps below:
- Remove the Heart Rate Pod from the Armband.
- Use a soft cloth with warm water or isopropyl alcohol to wipe the surface of the Heart Rate Pod. Do not soak or use bleach on the Heart Rate Pod. Always wipe the Heart Rate Pod and Pod Charger dry before placing the Heart Rate Pod on the Pod Charger. Sweat and other liquids on the gold pins and charging contacts can cause corrosion that can damage the Pod Charger.
- Clean the Armband by hand with warm water. Allow the Armband to airdry - do not wring dry, tumble dry, or iron the Armband.
- Once both components are thoroughly dried, either securely snap the Heart Rate Pod back into the Armband or place it on the Pod Charger.
- Do not allow any liquid (including sweat), dead skin, personal care products, residue or dirt to build up under the band or under the Heart Rate Pod. Stop using the Heart Rate Band immediately if you have an allergic reaction to the Armband or Heart Rate Pod.
We recommend cleaning your Armband after each use.
Keep the Heart Rate Band away from fires or other heat sources and avoid leaving it in direct sunlight.
Q: What do the lights on my Peloton Heart Rate Band mean?
The lights on your Peloton Heart Rate Band will change colors based on different usage states.
