Peloton is committed to operating with the highest standard of safety protocols at our studios in both New York and London.
On March 14, 2020, we closed both our New York and London studios to the public and began operating closed sets with minimal staffing.
On March 16, 2020, we significantly scaled back our production of live classes in both studios to further limit staff needed on site.
Through April 6, 2020, we continued to operate both our studios in accordance with guidance provided by the local governments and public health authorities in both regions. In addition, New York State officially approved Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) to continue limited operations as an essential business.
On April 7, 2020, we voluntarily and temporarily paused production at both studios. Two weeks later, we launched our first-ever Live From Home classes, broadcasting from our instructors’ homes across three countries. We will continue to produce Live From Home content, and simultaneously resume live production from both Peloton Studios New York and London studios starting on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Peloton Studios New York and London studios will open to the public on Friday, August 19, 2022.
At this time, Peloton will require individuals to show either a proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within the last 72 hours to enter the studio mask optional. In accordance with CDC guidance, a person must have received their second or final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine 14 days prior to entering Peloton Studios New York to be considered fully vaccinated. Otherwise, individuals without proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test will be required to wear a mask for the duration of their time in Peloton Studios New York.
Members participating in classes at Peloton Studios London will need to have their temperature checked and answer a brief questionnaire upon arriving at the Studio.
The safety, health and well-being of our employees and communities remains our top priority, and we will begin with a minimal production team. Prior to pausing studio production, we developed a pod staffing structure, added private car service and meal support for those who work on-site, increased cleaning protocols, and distributed personal protective equipment, among other efforts. All of these processes will continue during this first phase of returning to operations. In addition, we will complete daily wellness checks for all employees and vendors who enter the studios.
