Subtitles are available for both live and on-demand classes on the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, and Guide. You can also enable subtitles on your Peloton App for iOS and Android, on the Web, and on compatible TVs. German-dubbed classes are also available on Peloton Products in all Peloton markets.
Please read below for more information on how to turn on subtitles or closed captions for your Peloton Classes and for information about dubbed classes.
Accessing Subtitles on Your Peloton Product
On-Demand:
On-demand subtitles are typically available within 48 hours after they were originally recorded. To find classes with subtitles, tap the "Filter" button in the on-demand library. Then select the language for your class subtitles. You will then be shown all of the on-demand classes available with subtitles in that language!
During A Class:
You will be able to turn subtitles on or off from the “Quick Settings” menu during or before any class that has captions available.
To enable subtitles, tap the time icon in the top right corner of your touchscreen. Then, toggle on the "Subtitles" button.
Note: not all classes will have German, Spanish, and English subtitles available.
Accessing Subtitles From the Peloton App or Web
To access classes with subtitles from the Peloton App or Web, please follow the steps below:
1. Go to your home screen and click on “Workouts” and then “Classes.”
2. Click the filter button.
3. Finally, click on the “Subtitles” tab and select the language you would like your class subtitles to be in. This will allow you to view Peloton Classes that have German, English, or Spanish subtitles available.
During Class
You will be able to turn subtitles on or off during any class that has closed captions available. To enable or disable subtitles, tap the "Subtitles" icon and select the subtitle language you are looking for.
Note: not all classes will have German, Spanish, and English subtitles available .

1. Go to your home screen and click on your desired fitness discipline (e.g Strength).
2. Click the filter button.
3. Finally, click on the “Subtitles” tab and select the language you would like your class subtitles to be in. This will allow you to view Peloton Classes that have German, English, or Spanish subtitles available.

Q: Why is content dubbing launching in German first?
A: We want to offer even more choice of classes in German for our German-speaking Members.
Q: What content is being dubbed in German?
A: We will continue to review what is most appealing to German-speaking Members, and this will inform future decisions regarding what content is dubbed.
Q: What instructors are being dubbed in German? Why isn’t [X]’s classes being dubbed in German?
A: We are starting with Tunde Oyeneyin, Anna Greenberg, Robin Arzon, Rebecca Kennedy, Aditi Shah, Jermaine Johnson and Kendall Toole; and more instructors may be available dubbed in the future.
Q: What modalities are being dubbed in German? Why isn’t [X] being dubbed in German?
A: At present, we offer dubbed classes in Strength (including Pilates), Shadowboxing, Tread Bootcamp and Pre/post-natal modalities. We will continue to identify where we think Dubbing will be valued most by our German-speaking Members.
Q: What markets/countries is the German-dubbed content available in?
A: The dubbed content is available in all of the markets where Peloton operates as long as you have your Class Language preferences set to show German classes.
Q: Will content be dubbed in other languages in the future?
A: We are focusing on German dubbed classes at this time.
Q: How do I access the German dubbing content?
A: Dubbed German content is available in both Programs and Collections. Make sure you have your “Class Language” in “Preferences” set to “Show All German Classes” and when scrolling through the Content, look for the label ‘Deutsche Version’ in Programs and “Auf Deutsch” in Collections.
Q: Does launching Dubbed classes in German mean we are going to make fewer original classes in German?
A: We have 12 German speaking Instructors and a library of thousands of German classes. We are producing thousands of hours of content and will continue to provide a variety of classes for Peloton Members.
Q: How do I provide feedback about the quality of the language dubbing?
A: We'd love to hear your feedback! Write to us to let us know what you think of the dubbed class you took. If you notice an issue with the quality, sound, picture, video, or translation of a dubbed class, you can report it directly to dubbing@onepeloton.com. Just let us know which class you took and a few details about the problem. While not every issue will be fixed right away, reporting a problem lets our content teams know about an issue to work on fixing it.
