If you need to stop the belt of the Peloton Tread+ from moving, you can remove the safety key. This will gradually stop the slat belt's movement if an emergency stop is needed. If you encounter an issue with your safety key or need a replacement safety key, please contact our Member Support Team immediately.
If you're in Free Mode, the Peloton Tread+ will only move if you are walking or running. Please note that the Tread+ will not allow you to set your incline or speed while in Free Mode.
After 45 seconds of inactivity outside of class or after putting your Tread+ to sleep, Tread Lock will automatically lock your Tread+. For more information on Tread Lock, click here.
