Please Note: Bike and Bike+ Limited Warranties are not transferable to secondary owners, and Peloton Protection Plans purchased prior to April 5th, 2022 are not transferable to secondary owners. Where can I sell my Bike or Bike+?
While we do not endorse any particular selling platform (or help with the process), below are examples where former Members have sold their Peloton Bike or Bike+.
- Local Online Marketplace (e.g., Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace): Members have sold used Peloton Bikes on local online marketplaces. Selling locally can make for a less costly transaction as the buyer can handle pickup.
- Unofficial “Peloton Buy Sell Trade” Facebook Group: Members have sold used Peloton Bikes on this unofficial Facebook group which recommends local pickups. Please note: this page is not in any way affiliated with Peloton.
- In-person (e.g., family member, friend, neighbor): Members have sold or gifted their Peloton Bike to someone they know and trust.
Note: Please beware of fraud or scam attempts on online marketplaces and be sure to understand and follow their selling guidelines and terms of use. Please do not post listings on our Official Peloton Rider Page on Facebook or use our photos or other marketing assets in your listings.
How much should I sell my Bike or Bike+ for?
There is no typical selling price. It often ranges depending on characteristics such as condition and age. Depending on the selling platform, you may view historical sales listings to get an idea of the going rate.
What info should I include in my listing?
Listings often include item name, condition (e.g., degree of wear), price, location, return policy, and guarantees (e.g., eBay money back guarantee) as well as detailed pictures of your Bike or Bike+. Generally, the sales platform will outline what type of information to include.
What should I do about shipping?

Can I transfer over my Bike warranty to the new owner?
Bike and Bike+ Limited Warranties are not transferable to secondary owners, and Peloton Protection Plans purchased prior to April 5th, 2022 are not transferable to secondary owners. If you purchased a Protection Plan for your Bike or Bike+ on or after April 5th, 2022, you may transfer the Protection Plan to the new owner. Can I transfer any prepaid membership credits to the new owner?
Yes, you may transfer prepaid membership credits to a new owner. Please contact our Member Support Team with both parties’ rider names or email addresses.
Do I need to reset my Bike or Bike+ before selling it?
Before selling your Bike or Bike+, you can reset it. To reset your Bike or Bike+, please click on “Settings,” then “System” and finally “Factory Reset.”
