With WearOS, you can track your heart rate and additional metrics from your Android® smartwatch, such as Google Pixel and Samsung watches, when taking a class on any Peloton Product.

Pairing WearOS - Watch App Opened
1. When you perform a workout on a Peloton product (Bike, Bike+, Tread, or Guide) you will see a button to connect a heart rate monitor.
2. Clicking the button will open a series of options to connect heart rate monitors, along with an option to connect a WearOS watch.
3. You should get a prompt on your watch to connect as a heart rate monitor to the class.

- The watch should show the instructor icon, class title and an option to connect or decline/dismiss
4. If you have not enabled sensor permissions on your watch, you will need to enable them to use the watch as a heart rate monitor.
5. Once connected, you will see your heart rate on the watch and also the same metric on your Peloton product screen
Pairing WearOS - Watch App Not Opened
1. You will get a push notification to your phone when you try and connect a heart rate monitor to a Peloton product (Bike, Bike+, Tread, Row, or Guide) workout.
2. The push notification will include details of the workout and will give you the option to accept/connect or dismiss.
3. You should get a prompt on your watch to connect as a heart rate monitor to the class.

Disconnecting
1. Once you’ve connected your watch as a heart rate monitor during a workout, you should see an option on your watch to disconnect the device.
2. You will need to swipe to the second screen of the watch app where you will have the option to pause/play or disconnect from the workout
Note: the second button will always read “disconnect” when you are connected and doing a Peloton product workout.

- For non- Peloton product workouts, you will see the option to “End” your workout.
3. When you hit disconnect, a confirmation page will appear that will prompt you to accept or decline the disconnection.
This new feature launches April 4, 2023 and will be made available on a rolling basis.
