Target Metrics allow Members to seamlessly follow instructors' recommended resistance and cadence ranges during Peloton cycling classes and suggested speed and incline ranges on your Tread.
What Are Target Metrics?
Target Metrics are metrics ranges based on the instructor's in-class recommendations. Following instructor cues, Target Metrics will continue to update on your touchscreen to help you stay on track all throughout your class.
Members are also able to preview a class's Target Metrics ranges, allowing you to find the perfect class for your training goals or mood.

How Can I Find Target Metrics?
Target Metrics is available in on-demand cycling and running classes on the Peloton Bike, Bike+, and Tread. The feature will automatically appear on the metric tab during a class.
Target Metrics will now be available for guided scenic runs and rides as well.
Please note: Live classes will be posted to our on-demand library within 6 hours, with Target Metrics available. Target Metrics will only be available on cycling and running classes.
How Do Target Metrics Work?
Each time you take a Peloton class, instructors will cue a range of metrics. With Target Metrics, those recommended ranges will display directly above your working cadence and resistance on your touchscreen.
Any time the instructor cues a new range of metrics, your Target Metrics will automatically adjust.
Target Metrics will be highlighted in yellow if you are within range. If you are out of range, the Target Metrics will not be highlighted.
