Where can I sell my bike?
While we do not endorse any particular selling platform (or help with the process), below are examples where former Members have sold their Peloton Bike.
- Local Online Marketplace (e.g., Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Letgo): Members have sold used Peloton Bikes on local online marketplaces. Selling locally can make for a less costly transaction as the Buyer can handle pickup.
- National Online Marketplace (e.g., eBay): Members have sold used Peloton Bikes on National online marketplaces. In many cases, the seller opts to have the buyer pick up the bike, making it a local transaction.
- Unofficial “Peloton Buy Sell Trade” Facebook Group: Members have sold used Peloton Bikes on this unofficial Facebook group which recommends local pickups. Please note this page is not in any way affiliated with Peloton.
- In-person (e.g., family member, friend, neighbour): Members have sold or gifted their Peloton Bike to someone they know and trust.
How much should I sell my bike for?
There is no typical selling price. It often ranges depending on characteristics such as condition and age. Depending on the selling platform, you may view historical sales listings to get an idea of the going rate.
What info should I include in my listing?
Listings often include item name, condition (e.g., degree of wear), price, location, return policy, and guarantee (e.g., eBay money-back guarantee) as well as detailed pictures of your bike. Generally, the selling platform will outline what type of information to include.
