Badges
Badges have gotten a new look! Plus, celebrate your rides with friends with even more social badges. Don’t forget to connect your Facebook account to find friends who are riding with Peloton!
And even before you earn them, you can now view all the badges available on the Bike and App! In your profile, you’ll see the complete list of badges alongside the ones you’ve already earned. Curious about a new badge? Just tap it to see its name and description.
We’re also introducing Beyond the Ride milestones and social badges. Plus, be on the lookout for special event badges too.
We’ve also made a small change to the way your streaks are calculated. In the past, streak badges were based on how many workouts you did within a set period of time (e.g., the Hat Trick badge was awarded for doing three workouts within 3 days/ 72 hours). We’ll now calculate streaks based on calendar days you worked out in a row, for this example three consecutive days (e.g., Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). This logic will be applied to both historical and future rides. Because of this, you may see a decrease in the number of streak badges you’ve earned.
Tread users will receive badges for running/walking personal bests, and you will be able to see your personal bests highlighted in your workout history. Note: You will not receive separate badges for running and walking; badges are awarded based on the time it takes to complete the distance on the Tread. Personal best badges include your fastest:
- 1k
- 1 mile
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
- Full marathon
Workout Details
Now, get even more out of your performance metrics after each class. The refreshed design of the workout details screen gives you a more comprehensive look at your class performance, with a focus on heart rate zones, including how much of your workout you spent in each zone.
