Replacing the Bike Touchscreen
Replacing the touchscreen on your Peloton Bike is a Member-friendly process, but it may require two people. Please use discretion. If you’ve received a replacement touchscreen from our Member Support Team, please follow the instructions below to complete the repair.
- Power off and unplug the Bike.
- Unplug the monitor cable.
- Remove the square panel from the back of the touchscreen.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the 4 monitor screws. This will fully release the touchscreen.
- Locate the replacement part which comes with 4 new screws.
- Plug the monitor cable into the new replacement touchscreen.
- Plug in and power on the Bike.
You have now successfully replaced the Bike touchscreen. We can’t wait to see you back on the Leaderboard!
Replacing the Bike+ Touchscreen
Replacing the Bike+ touchscreen is a Member-friendly process. If you’ve received the new touchscreen from our Member Support Team, please follow the instructions below to complete the replacement. Please note, we recommend having another person assist you with attaching the new touchscreen to the handlebars.
The only tool you will need for this replacement is a 4mm Allen Key.
1. Power off and unplug the Bike+.
2. Make sure the touchscreen is vertical and rotated 180° so the front of the screen is facing away from the handlebars.
3. Tilt the touchscreen all the way up.
4. Unplug the monitor and the audio cable located on the back of the monitor.
5. Use a 4mm hex bit or Allen Key to remove the 2 touch screen screws. This will fully release the touchscreen.
6. Locate the replacement part which comes with 2 new screws.
7. Return the touchscreen to the monitor mount and make sure it is fully seated. We recommend having another person assist with attaching the touchscreen to the handlebars.
8. Return the touchscreen screws to the mount using a 4mm hexbit or Allen Key.
9. Tighten both bolts to a quarter turn past when the screw becomes tight (7.4 lbs-ft, 10 N-m) using a 4mm hex bit or an Allen Key and a 3/8" drive torque wrench.
10. Plug in the monitor cable to the touchscreen to the middle port.
11. Plug in and power on the Bike+.
12. Remove protective plastic from the new touchscreen.

Replacing the Bike+ Touchscreen Mounting Screws
Replacing the Bike+ touchscreen mounting screws is a Member-friendly process. If you’ve received the new touchscreen mounting screws from our Member Support Team, please follow the instructions below to complete the replacement. Please note, we recommend having another person assist you with attaching the touchscreen to the handlebars.
The only tool you will need for this replacement is a 4mm Allen Key.
1. Power down and unplug the Bike+.
2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the Bike+ touchscreen.
3. Make sure the touchscreen is vertical and rotated 180 degrees so the front of the screen is facing away from the handlebars.
4. Tilt the screen all the way up.
5. Using a 4mm hex bit or Allen Key, remove the two touchscreen screws.
6. Replace with the new touchscreen screws.
7. Tighten both bolts to a quarter turn past when the screw becomes tight (7.4 lbs-ft, 10 N-m) using a 4mm hex bit or an Allen Key and a 3/8" drive torque wrench.
8. Tilt the touchscreen vertically and rotate it to face the Bike+.
9. Plug the power cable into the Peloton port.
10. Plug the audio cable into the 3.5mm port.
11. Power on the Bike+.
