My Form Assist Calibration is Frozen or Stuck
1. Calibrate your Form Assist in Settings. Navigate to Settings > Form Assist > Calibrate.
2. If the seat is not positioned correctly, Form Assist will not work properly. Confirm that the seat and rail gasket are oriented correctly. To confirm the seat’s orientation, make sure the Peloton “P” logo is closest to the Rail Foot as shown below:
3. Confirm the gasket’s orientation by checking that the opening in the rail gasket is on the left side of the rail near the left foot strap. This opening is located on the left side of the Peloton Row behind the foot rest. If there is no hole present, the gasket has been installed backwards and is blocking the sensor that tracks your form.
If either the seat or gasket is in the wrong orientation, follow the directions here.
4. Dock your handle. Make sure the pins on the bottom of the handle make contact with the handle dock. Once properly docked and secured, undock the handle.
5. Ensure there is not an obstruction or dust buildup in the left inner groove of the rail. For instructions on how to clean the rail groove and seat wheels, click here. Check that nothing is obstructing the sensor located on the base where the rail connects.
6. Check that nothing is obstructing the path underneath the seat as it moves along the rail.
7. Power cycle your Row:
- If the touchscreen has visible power, start with Step 1. If the touchscreen has no visible power, please proceed to Step 2.
- Step 1: Hold the center button on the back of the touchscreen down until it goes into sleep mode.
- Step 2: Flip the power switch off.
- Step 3: Unplug the power cord directly from the Row.
- Step 4: Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back into the Row.
- Step 5: Flip the power switch on.
8. Check to make sure your software is up to date by navigating to Settings > Device Settings > Systems > Check for Updates. If an update is needed, proceed to update the software.
