Peloton is bringing Sessions back, now with our #1 most requested feature — the ability to schedule Sessions with friends from the iOS App.
While Sessions gives you the live leaderboard experience where all Members start an on-demand class at the same time, Scheduling gives you the ability to schedule your classes ahead of time.
These features can work conjunctly, which means you can now schedule a Session with just a few simple clicks.
Class Availability When Scheduling A Session
- Scheduling is currently available on the Peloton App.
- Sessions is only available on the Peloton Bike, Bike+ and Tread for English-speaking devices.
- Scenic Rides, Just Ride, and Just Run workouts are not available for Scheduling.
- Only Running and Cycling classes over 20 minutes long are eligible as Sessions.
How To Schedule A Session
On iOS:
1. On your Peloton iOS App, select any 20 minute+ Cycling or Running on-demand class.
2. Select the time and date to start the class, up to two weeks in advance.
3. Click "Invite" to share that scheduled class with your friends and family.

4. When the scheduled time arrives to take the class, you will receive a push notification on the Peloton App (iOS) and on your Peloton hardware product.
5. Head over to your Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, or Tread+ and select "Join Session" to take your scheduled class as a Session with friends!
On Android:
1. On your Peloton Android App, select any 20 minute+ Cycling or Running on-demand class.
2. Select the time and date to start the class, up to two weeks in advance.
3. Click "Invite" to share that scheduled class with your friends and family.
4. When the scheduled time arrives to take the class, you will receive a push notification on the Peloton App and on your Peloton hardware product.
