Target Metrics allow riders to seamlessly follow instructors' recommended resistance and cadence ranges during Peloton cycling classes.
What are Target Metrics?
Target Metrics are metrics ranges based on instructors' in-class recommendations. Following instructor cues, Target Metrics will continue to update on your touchscreen to help you stay on track all throughout your class.
Members are also able to preview a class' Target Metrics ranges, allowing you to find the perfect class for your training goals or mood.
How Can I Find Target Metrics?
The Target Metrics feature is available in on-demand cycling classes on the Peloton Bike and Bike+.
Please note: Live classes will be posted to our on-demand library within 6 hours, with Target Metrics available.
How Do Target Metrics Work?
Each time you take a Peloton cycling class, instructors will be cueing a range of metrics. With Target Metrics, those recommended ranges will display directly above your working cadence and resistance on your touchscreen.
Any time the instructor cues a new range of metrics, your Target Metrics will automatically adjust.
Target Metrics will be highlighted in yellow if you are within range. If you are out of range, the Target Metrics will not be highlighted.
