COVID-19 Bike Delivery Status
Why are we changing our delivery process?
We are implementing a new delivery format where we will fully assemble your Bike and bring it to the entrance to your home or apartment unit. We will meet you to confirm delivery using a contactless method before departure. We are taking these precautionary steps in the interest of the health and safety of both you and our employees to help prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
Out of concern for the health and safety of the Peloton team & community, we ask that if you’re feeling unwell or may have been exposed to COVID-19, or otherwise need to change your order please call us to reschedule for a later date. Please note that we are unable to commit to when that will be feasible given current constraints.
Please also note that depending on your delivery location, our team may not be able to move Bikes into your room of choice, so if you feel that you are unable to move your Bike, please contact us to reschedule. We recommend using two people to move the Bike between rooms or up and downstairs.
Contactless Delivery Service
Pre-Call: Our team will call 30-minutes before your delivery. The team will ask whether you would like your touchscreen to be attached, or detached for the delivery. If you plan to move the Bike up or downstairs, we recommend taking delivery of the Bike with the touchscreen detached.
Social Distancing: If you have requested for your touchscreen to be attached, our team will do this in the van outside. When the team approaches the house, please open the door before stepping back at least 3 meters to allow space to move the Bike inside.
Getting Started: Our team will wipe down the Bike and leave a note explaining who to contact for assistance activating your Bike, before leaving your home. Our activation team will explain how to access appropriate classes, and how to set up the Bike according to your height over the phone.
No Signature Required: In line with the latest government advice, we have designed this experience to minimize touchpoints between our Members and employees. We ask that you allow plenty of space for the team to come and go without coming into contact with obstacles or other individuals in your household.
Activating Your Bike
Once your Bike has been delivered, there are just a few steps for you to take before riding:
- Move the Bike to your desired location. If your Bike is not stable, turn the outer feet on the front and rear stabilizers counterclockwise until they rest firmly on the ground (see video instructions here). The middle foot on each stabilizer is not adjustable. Once placed, gently shake the Bike to verify that it does not wobble.
- Plug the power supply into a wall jack. The LED on the power supply should light up green. Press the top button on the back of the monitor to power it on.
- Follow the steps to activate including connecting to your wifi (have your password handy) and using your activation key to get started.
