A: The Body Activity feature on Peloton Guide visualizes which muscle groups you recently worked and which need attention for a better, more well-rounded strength routine. Based on your Body Activity, Peloton will recommend classes focused on muscle groups that need training to help you get a rounded full-body workout.
Q: Does the Body Activity feature take into consideration classes taken on other Peloton platforms (Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, App)?
A: Yes, the Body Activity feature will show which muscle groups you have recently worked out on the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, and App, with the exception of our TV apps at launch.
Q: What is machine learning?
A: Machine learning is a type of AI that takes in data and turns it into patterns and decisions without having an engineer map out those decisions. For Peloton Guide, machine learning is used to help Members track their movements and progress.
Q: What is the Voice Control feature? Why is it labeled as beta?
A: Peloton Guide’s Voice Control feature allows you to use voice commands such as start, pause, fast-forward, and stop to control your in-class experience. Q: Can multiple people track and take a class together at the same time?

Q: Can I use my Apple Watch® to track my heart rate and use the Strive Score feature on Peloton Guide?
A: At launch, we will not support Apple Watch® for heart rate monitoring and Strive Score. In the meantime, Members can use the Peloton Heart Rate Band (or any Bluetooth® heart rate monitor) for heart rate monitoring and Strive Score. Stay tuned for more information soon.
Q: How do I power the Peloton Guide on/off or put it in sleep mode?
A: Your Peloton Guide can be powered off or put to sleep by navigating to the “Shut Down” option from the Home navigation screen or in the Quick Settings. By default, after 15 minutes of inactivity, the Peloton Guide will automatically enter a sleep mode.

Q: What types of classes and content will be on Peloton Guide?
A: At launch, we’ll have on-demand Strength classes available on Peloton Guide, including dedicated Programs for all levels, taking advantage of Peloton Guide’s advanced technology and new features to target specific body parts, track progress, and completely revamp strength training. We’ll be adding live classes to the schedule soon.
Q: Which instructors are teaching classes?
A: At launch, Peloton instructors Callie Gullickson, Jess Sims, Matty Maggiacomo, Ben Alldis, Daniel McKenna, Jermaine Johnson, Rad Lopez, Selena Samuela, Adrian Williams, Andy Speer, Rebecca Kennedy, and Robin Arzon are teaching classes and Programs for Peloton Guide. Q: Will there be any Peloton Guide exclusive classes?

Q: Are there dedicated Programs for Peloton Guide?
A: We’ll have dedicated Programs developed for Peloton Guide, starting with our newest “Floor Bootcamp” launching on Monday, April 11, 2022. These Programs will be released on all Peloton platforms seven weeks after they premiere on Guide.
Peloton Guide Privacy & Security FAQs
Q: Will I have control over the camera/microphones?
A: Peloton Members will have control over the camera and microphones. You’ll be able to put Peloton Guide to sleep, slide the cover over the camera, and even turn off the microphones via a physical switch on the device. Peloton does not store or share any voice, image, or video data from Peloton Guide.
Q: How do the microphones work? Are the microphones listening to my conversations?
A: Peloton Guide includes the ability to control the device with voice commands while in class. Microphones will not be on or listening unless you are in class. Members will always have the choice to turn off the microphones via a physical switch. Peloton does not store or share any voice, image, or video data from Peloton Guide.
Q: How does Peloton use or store Member data?
A: Peloton uses and stores personal information to help you, such as by analyzing your performance and providing you with analytics about your progress over time or by providing you with workout recommendations.
