At Peloton, we empower you with the ability to express your preferences about who sees your Peloton activity and achievements. We want to make sure you are aware of what information your profile followers see.
As part of our community-building efforts, we offer features that may enable other Peloton Members to see your profile information and workout streaming history, depending on your privacy settings. If your profile is set to public, which is the default setting, other Peloton Members will be able to view this information, including the workouts you have streamed.
By keeping your profile set to public, or by allowing other Members to follow you, you are agreeing to have your information shared with other Peloton Members in accordance with your privacy settings. Please note, you can change your privacy settings to private or remove followers at any time.
Read below for more detailed information about setting your Peloton profile to private and how to remove followers.
Setting Your Profile To Private
By default, your Peloton profile is set to public. This means that other Peloton Members can search for you, view your profile and workouts, and follow you. We find that one of the things people love most about Peloton is the community, and many of our Members are eager to share with and get to know one another.
If you’d prefer to limit your Peloton circle, you have the ability to set your profile to private in your settings. If your profile is set to private, other Peloton Members can search for you and request to follow you, but will not have the ability to view your full profile or workout information unless you accept their follow request. The only information shown in a search for a private profile is the username, profile picture, location, and any tags that may have been added.
