If your wireless connection is not strong enough to work with the Tread, you also have the option of using an Ethernet cable to connect your Tread to a wired network.
The Tread's Ethernet port is located on the back of the touchscreen. Pry the back panel and top cap off the touchscreen mount to access the port.
Plug your Ethernet cable into the port and the router or wall jack for your Local Area Network (LAN). The Tread will connect to your network automatically.
Snap the back panel and top cap back on, making sure to route the Ethernet cable through the gap at the bottom of the touchscreen mount.
Make sure your Ethernet cable is long enough to reach from the Tread to the internet access point without passing under the Tread or being stretched taut. Do not use a cable less than 15' long.
