Moving to a Different Property
We highly recommend using a shipping or moving company that will insure your Peloton Bike/Bike+ just in case damage occurs during transport.
Regardless of who is moving the Bike/Bike+, to prevent any damage during the move, we ask that you remove the touchscreen, pedals, water bottle holder, and weight holders from your Peloton Bike or Bike+ prior to transport to reduce any damage to these parts. Below you will find instructions on how to do so.
We also suggest bringing the handlebars and seat post to the lowest position and ensuring all the adjustment levers on the Bike/Bike+ are fully tightened.

- Tighten the bolt at the side of the handlebar base using your 6mm Allen wrench. ⚠CAUTION: Make sure all bolts are tight before moving to the next step.
- Tilt the touchscreen forward and back to check for wobble between the touchscreen and mounting plate. If there is any movement, tighten each bolt again.
- Open the plastic cable retention clip at the back of the touchscreen. This may require some force.
Locate the monitor cable at the left of the flywheel. Plug the cable connectors into the power and data ports. Make sure both connectors are fully seated, then close the clamp. Replace the Ethernet cable if applicable.
- Using the fastener strap, secure the cable to the monitor arm. Make sure there is enough slack on both sides of the strap to raise the handlebars to their highest position and to tilt the touchscreen up and down.

Tool Needed
Removal Steps
- Turn resistance to maximum (Bike) or have a helper hold down the resistance knob (Bike+) to stop the crank arms from moving.
- Using a 15 mm pedal wrench, rotate the right pedal spindle counterclockwise until the pedal comes off.
- Rotate the left pedal spindle clockwise until the pedal comes off.
Re-Installation Steps
⚠ CAUTION: Identify the right and left pedals before installation. Make sure each pedal is correctly threaded before screwing it in. Misaligning the threads or turning a pedal in the wrong direction could damage the pedal and bike.
- Look for “L” and “R” markings on the pedals. Place the pedal marked L on the left side of the bike, and the pedal marked R on the right side of the bike.
- Insert the right pedal into the right crank arm at a 90° angle. Holding the pedal steady, rotate the spindle clockwise until it is hand-tight. Tighten using a 15 mm pedal wrench. It’s important that the pedal is as tight as you can make it.
- Insert the left pedal into the left crank arm at a 90° angle. Holding the pedal steady, rotate the spindle counterclockwise until it is hand-tight. Tighten using a 15 mm pedal wrench. Double check that the pedal is as tight as you can make it.
