I live in Scotland where tighter delivery restrictions have been introduced. Are you legally allowed to deliver a Tread to my room of choice?
In accordance with Scottish Government guidance and regulations, we are pausing in-home Tread deliveries in Scotland. This means that we are unable to deliver the Peloton Tread in Scotland at this time. The Peloton Tread is a heavier device and requires in-home delivery and assembly to ensure it is installed safely.
If you live in Scotland and you have an outstanding Tread order with us, we will contact you shortly to explain your options. We’re excited to get your Tread to you as soon as it is safe to do so.
My Tread delivery is now on hold due to COVID-19 related delivery restrictions in Scotland. How will you ensure that my delivery is expedited when you are allowed to enter homes in Scotland again?
As soon as we are able to begin in-home Tread deliveries in Scotland, we will begin to schedule deliveries in the order that we received them, wherever possible.
I financed the purchase of my Peloton Tread through Klarna. I live in Scotland and my delivery is now on hold, will my payments be put on hold?
We have worked with our partners at Klarna to delay your first payment, however, depending on the length of the delay, please note that it is possible that Klarna will still collect payments before you receive your Tread.
I’ve requested to return my Bike/Bike+ in Scotland, will you still be able to collect it and issue a refund?
Yes, we will still be able to collect your Bike or Bike+ and we can enter the home for this. However, on certain occasions and depending on the latest available COVID-19 data, we may need to perform this as a threshold service. To learn more, click here.
My Bike/Bike+ is damaged, can you still enter homes to perform repairs?
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions in Scotland, we are unable to enter the home to perform repairs, as repair work in homes is restricted to essential items and this is not considered essential. We are able to offer a threshold service option, which would require you to bring your Bike or Bike+ outside your home. If this is not an option for you, we will contact you as soon as it is possible to re-enter the home to repair non-essential items.
Why are you allowed to enter homes for returns but not repairs?
The current COVID-19 restrictions in Scotland only permit maintenance and repair work to be carried out inside the home for essential items and repairs of exercise equipment would not be considered essential, however, for Bike returns, we are able to enter the home to remove an item. Whilst we are not able to enter the home for Bike repairs, we can perform these as a threshold service.
