Peloton is introducing a limited-time beta feature, Sessions, that allows you to organize a class with your friends and family.
Using the feature, you can experience a live leaderboard where all Members start the on-demand class at the same time.
How do I start a Session?
In your Class tab, you can select a class from the library that is eligible for a Session. An eligible class for Sessions will be marked by a banner that says "Session Beta".
Upon joining a Session, you will be directed to a waiting area until the class begins.
New Sessions begin every 5 minutes. If you miss joining a specific Session, you can always join another in the next availabilities.
What classes are available in Sessions?
Sessions are classes that are at least twenty minutes long. Sessions are only available on Running, Cycling, and Bootcamp classes. Peloton Sessions are not currently supported on Scenic Rides, Scenic Runs, Yoga, Stretching, or Cardio classes.
What happens when I’m in a Session?
Sessions make it easier to start an on-demand class and begin at the same time as every other Member.
With this feature, you'll experience a live leaderboard and have the opportunity to interact with your community by competing in real-time and sending high-fives.
Where can I find the feature?
Sessions are available on all Peloton hardware products, including the Bike, Bike+, Tread, and Tread+. The feature will not be available on the Peloton Web, iOS or Android Digital, Apple TV, FireTV, or Roku. Sessions will only be available for a limited time.
