At Peloton, the health and safety of our community is always our top priority. In light of ongoing developments in the Coronavirus (aka COVID-19) pandemic, we wanted to share the proactive steps that our Field Operations delivery teams are taking to minimize the risk of the spread of the virus. We are implementing a new delivery format where we will fully assemble your Bike but leave it at the entrance to your home or apartment unit. We will meet you to confirm delivery using a contactless method before departure.
We will be taking the following precautions to ensure our Field Ops delivery teams are following current recommendations from public health authorities regarding sanitation to keep both you and the Peloton team safe:
- We will ensure every van has sanitizer wipes for easy use.
- At the end of each day, every day, the team will wipe down the delivery van with sanitizer wipes.
- Hand sanitizer and gloves will also be placed in each van.
- We are changing our operating procedures to minimize interpersonal contact as much as possible.
We have asked our third-party delivery partners to take similar protective measures for the deliveries that they manage for us.
While we can offer this threshold delivery for the Bike, we are unable to offer the same service for the Tread given the high-touch nature of delivery and required in-home assembly. We are temporarily pausing Tread sales and deliveries until it is feasible and safe to start delivering again.
In order to limit interpersonal contact, we have also postponed any service appointments or returns that require our delivery teams to enter a residence beyond the threshold. As soon as we can resume normal service appointment procedures we will contact you to reschedule.
We are actively monitoring announcements from the CDC and other health agencies in order to ensure that we are up-to-date and providing our Members the safest environment possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
