Power Requirements
The power requirements for the Tread/Tread+ : 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit (U.S. only) 13A dedicated circuit ( EU only)
For an uninterrupted experience, avoid the following type outlets:
- GFCI
- RCBO
The Tread should be connected to a dedicated circuit.
GFCI(Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupter) & RCBO (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) Outlets
These outlets are designed to shut off if too much power is flowing through the ground port.
The Tread uses the ground on the outlet to disperse static electricity generated by machine operation, so if it’s plugged into a GFCI/RCBO outlet, it’s likely to trip the breaker and shut down.
If this occurs, move the treadmill to a different outlet.
- GFCI/RCBO outlets are usually found in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas where interacting with water is common.
- You can often identify GCFI/RCBO outlets by the red or white reset switch on the faceplate, but GFCI breakers often cover nearby outlets, too. Try moving the Tread to a different area
