If you encounter audio issues or issues adjusting the volume on your Bike, Bike+, or Tread touchscreen, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Before troubleshooting, please check the following:
- Ensure the volume is not at zero (0) on the touchscreen.
- Test the audio with wired headphones or earbuds. Join a class and make sure the physical volume buttons on the touchscreen are raised to a comfortable volume, and then connect the wired headphones or earbuds.
- Navigate to the "Settings" menu and ensure the "Audio" setting is not set to zero (0).
If the audio settings are correct and you are still experiencing audio issues, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
- From the "Settings Menu," select "Send Diagnostics Report."
- Perform a power cycle:
- Bike/Bike+:
- On the Peloton Bike/Bike+ touchscreen, hold the power button until the shutdown prompt appears.
- Select "Shut Down".
- Unplug the power cable from the outlet and wait 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cable back in and switch the power button on.
- Hold the power button on the touchscreen for 5 seconds to power the Bike/Bike+ on.
- Tread:
- On the Peloton Tread touchscreen, hold the power button until the shutdown prompt appears.
- Select "Shut Down".
- Locate the power button on the base of the Tread and switch the Tread off.
- Unplug the power cable from the outlet and wait 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cable back in and switch the power button on.
- Hold the power button on the touchscreen for 5 seconds to power the Tread on.
- Bike/Bike+:
