The Peloton Tread belt sits 20.5 cm from the floor. The space above the Peloton Tread must be free of obstacles, and if the tallest user the household is standing on the Peloton Tread, a ceiling height of at least 51 cm between the ceiling and the person’s head is required. Remember that your Peloton Tread will need to be plugged into a socket, so you should make sure that the final set up area for your Peloton Tread has one within 1.5m or less. The power cable attaches to the front of the Peloton Tread and is approximately 1.8m in length. We do not recommend plugging your Peloton Tread into an extension cable. Also, please ensure that your Peloton Tread is set up within range of your WiFi router.

Safety
Q: Is the Peloton Tread safe to use?
A: Peloton worked with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which reviewed and approved the repairs before sales resumed.
Q: What is new about the Peloton Tread since the recall in North America?
A: The Tread units being sold today and that will be sold in Australia have a different design than previously recalled units. The Tread touchscreen has a different design. We also released a new safety feature, called the Tread Lock, to prevent the unauthorised use by persons who do not meet the user criteria in the Tread User Manual. This is in addition to the Safety Key, which is a physical safety device that helps Members come to a quick stop during a class and prevents access by children or other unauthorised people when the Tread is not in use by removing the safety key after each use. For more information on Tread Lock, please visit: pelo.tn/treadlock.
Q: What is Tread Lock?
A: Tread Lock is a new safety feature designed to prevent unauthorized use of your Peloton Tread. This feature requires users to enter a 4-digit passcode to unlock the belt before starting each workout.
Q: Why is Tread Lock mandatory?
A: We care deeply about the safety and well-being of our Members. We have created a Tread Lock to secure your Peloton Tread against unauthorized access by unintended users. By setting a passcode known only to authorized users of the Tread who meet the User Manual criteria, you can help prevent unintended use by persons under 16 and others in your household who should not operate the Tread.
Q: What are the age and weight requirements for using the Peloton Tread?
A: The Peloton Tread is only for persons over the age of 16, weighing 48kg - 136kg, within a height range of 150 cm - 193 cm.
Q: How can I ensure I’m safely using the Tread?
A: Read and follow all safety instructions before first using your Tread. We created Tread Lock to secure your Peloton Tread against unauthorised access. During the initial product setup, you will be prompted to select a passcode known only to authorised users of the Tread who meet the User Manual criteria. This feature helps to ensure that those in your household who should not operate the Tread cannot operate the Tread. Before you begin a workout, check to make sure the space around your device meets the minimum side and rear clearance requirements from the User Manual. Keep children, pets, and objects away from the Tread at all times. Always use the safety key when using your Tread, always detach it after your workout, and store your device out of the reach of children.
Hardware
Q: I don’t think I have enough space for the Tread in my home. Can you help with measuring?
A: Our AR Home View is a tool that allows you to place a 3D model of the Tread in your home to view the size and scale! To view it in your space, visit onepeloton.com.au/tread/ar on your mobile device.
Q: What are the dimensions of the Peloton Tread?
A: The Peloton Tread's dimensions are 173cm L x 84cm W x 157cm H. Additionally, you should have at least 2m of clearance directly behind the Tread and 60cm of clearance on each other side and should ensure that the ceiling height is at least .5m greater than the height of your tallest Tread user. Make sure the space around your device is clear and keep children, pets, and objects away from the Tread at all times.
Q: How much does the Tread weigh?
A: The Peloton Tread weighs 132kg. To learn more, please visit: onepeloton.com.au/tread.
Q: What are the minimum ceiling requirements?
A: The Peloton Tread deck can incline to a height of 40cm. Make sure that the area above your Tread is free of obstructions and that the ceiling height is at least .5m greater than the height of your tallest Tread user.
Q: What are the minimum power requirements for the Peloton Tread?
A: Ensure that the power supply is plugged into a dedicated outlet that supports 10 amps in
Australia. Please avoid RCD or RCBO outlets.
Q: I moved my Tread from the US/CAN/UK/DE to Australia and it is no longer working?
A: Peloton Treads from the US or Canada will not work in Australia due to a different power supply and power requirements. Peloton Treads purchased from the UK or Germany will work but your warranty will not be valid in Australia.

A: We recommend a minimum of 10-15 Mbps download and 2.5 Mbps upload speed for your touchscreen.
